The Law of Attraction and Weight Loss

I have listened to "Secret" many times to help with weight loss. Since I have made achieving the body that I want the focus, here's what I hear a lot: you look like you are losing weight. Well... Now that is what people are saying to me in fact. I ran into someone I had not seen in nearly 10 years and they said "you look like you lost weight"
Here is what I am doing differently now. I visualize myself in the body that I want. I read plenty of information about nutrition and exercise and most importantly I think like a thin person when it comes to how I shop for food and what I eat. I still see the snacks and fast food but now I choose smaller portions and ask myself this question what would a thin person do? I observe people who have the body I want food shopping and what is going into their carts.
So now when I go into the store and I want a bag of chips I think what would a thin person do? I reflect on the body I want and ask myself is this choice helping me to be there?
