The Law of Attraction for Success, Wealth and More, step 2, Believing
The Law of Attraction is similar to the Power of Positive Thinking and Intention Manifestation. All can be used for self-improvement and to increase your happiness.
Believing that the change will come.
It's simple, but not easy. It takes work. Hard work to change your beliefs, your paradigm, on how the world works. And that's what it takes to use the law of attraction to improve your life. This is the 2nd step. The first step was discussed in 3 steps to the Law of Attraction to change your life
The Law of Attraction doesn't change your thoughts. It uses your thoughts. All of them, good and bad. Helpful and destructive. You have to do that part. You probably have many thoughts that are rather embedded that are really difficult to overcome. If you try to force yourself to think about being rich, or thin, you won't get rich or thin. You see, if you have to force yourself it means you don't really believe. You are fighting against a negative belief. Perhaps you've been told that 'money is the root of all evil' so that you think if you get rich you will be a bad person. Or maybe you feel there are so many others who are more deserving of wealth than you. This was my big block. These are examples of hidden beliefs.
Many times the resistance is closer to the surface as in, "I need to get more money so I can get rid of these bills". This is actually focusing not on getting money, but on your bills and lack of money. So lack of money is what you keep getting. If I tell you not to think about a purple monkey. Don't you actually think about the purple monkey? When the bill collectors call? How can you not think about how broke you are? Can you hold the picture of being rich? If you are overweight and you step on the scale, don't you think about how overweight you are? Not how slim you will be? So, how can you think about 'Y' when 'X' is staring you in the face? How can you believe in 'Y'? Sometimes you have to do it in steps. Improve your thoughts little by little. Since money and weight lose are the most common areas people want to change, I'll give you some examples. You're broke, but you want to be rich. You probably can't jump straight to picturing yourself being rich and believing it will happen. Oh, you can dream, but that's all it will be. A dream. You need something. (Maybe many some things) that you can believe in today. Can you believe in being debt free? Can you really believe and picture it? Can you feel what it would be like to pay all your bills in full and on time?? To have no collectors calling? Oh, wait a minute, that's still focusing on your bills. How can we re-phrase this so the Law of Attraction will attract money not bills? Think about a bigger pay check or a bank account with a hefty balance. Money coming to you from unexpected sources. Really feel the good feelings of security of a good savings account. Now for a weight loss example. I doubt that you consciously thought about becoming overweight. About gaining those pounds. I know I didn't. What you probably did think about, was how you don't have time for exercise, or how you just can't resist those sweets, or that you are overweight. You know that if you don't exercise and watch what you eat you will gain weight. If you think about how overweight you are or how you don't get enough exercise and how you can't stop eating, what do you do? Gain weight. That's the Law of Attraction at work. You won't lose that weight until you BELIEVE you can. I mean REALLY believe, for an extended time. That's where support people come in. They help you to believe when you start to stumble. That's why diet and exercise programs can work. And why they fail when the support is removed when you finish the program. Intention Manifestation can help you loss that weight when you believe you can. So how to you get to where you can really believe you can lose the weight? Step by step is how. Can you walk? Can you go for a walk every day? WILL you go for a walk everyday? BELIEVE you can do it! VISUALIZE yourself doing it! FEEL yourself doing it! Focus on the good things. Do you feel a sense of accomplishment? Do you feel your body becoming stronger? After you've been able to do that for awhile, take another step. Can You do 10 sit-ups, crunches or leg lifts? BELIEVE it! SEE it! FEEL it! DO it! It's a slow process. Don't get discouraged. Remember where you want to go, while accepting that you are not ready to be there YET. Don't start saying to yourself "I'll never get there!" The Law of Attraction will attract the negative.

Getting into the place where you truly believe it will happen. This is called getting into Harmony or alignment of your wants 'alignment' 'resonance', 'congruency' or 'vibration'. It is easier to get into alignment if you start out feeling good before you even state your want. So before you say "I want to be rich" or "I want to be thin", think of something that puts you in a good frame of mind, a positive emotion. Perhaps you won some event when you were young. Or you felt such joy when you got married or the birth of your child. Remember these uplifting moments. Do whatever you need to do to get and be happy. Once you're in a good mood, state your want with passion and conviction. Visualize it coming about. Once you get into alignment with your thought, the 3rd step in using the Law of Attraction is easy. Apply yourself to the change. You will be motivated, excited about the improvement in your life.
