Harmony is Important for Success

Harmony with nature
Harmony

To be in Harmony, Vibration or Resonance all mean the same thing when referring to the Law of Attraction.

It means having no conflicting wants, thoughts or feelings within or between the different areas of your life. Your desires and actions in your personal, professional, financial, and spiritual life are all in alignment. The more your whole life is in harmony, the more similar and complementary things manifest without effort.

If you are a more linear thinker, you might prefer to talk about alignment or congruency instead of harmony, vibration or resonance. It's pretty much the same thing. Making sure as many of your thoughts and actions as possible are moving in the same direction without conflicts.

OK, so what does that mean?

Well, let me provide some background. There are different levels of alignment. I'll call them Basic, Surface, General, Transverse, and Total levels of harmony.

The most basic level of alignment, is being in a good mood, having a generally positive mental attitude, when you state your desire. It's really hard, almost impossible, to have your stated desire manifest properly if you are feeling bad. Something will manifest, just not what you want. Because, if you are feeling bad you are experiencing a conflict somewhere.

Although you can temporarily fake good feelings by putting yourself in a good mood before stating your intention. I don't find it works all that well. I have a real problem trying to trick myself. I know it's a trick and don't fall for it.

I can put myself in a good mood by thinking of something that made me happy. My grandchild running full speed into my arms in greeting. Winning my first Martial Arts tournament. But, as soon as I think of the particular desire I want fulfilled, I go into the feeling that desire brings.

If thinking about my desire brings good feelings, I'm in harmony with it. If my feelings are neutral, I must not want it very badly. If it brings negative feelings, I've got more work to do to resolve the conflict and bring myself into alignment.

Feeling bad is a good sign that you have some negative thoughts or blocking beliefs about your stated desire. Which brings us to the next level of harmony, Surface.

Surface and General Harmony

You could be in alignment with a particular want if you have removed all blocking beliefs for that want.

Harmony You want more money and you hold no contradicting belief about not being able to get it. There are beliefs about never having enough and always being poor. About not deserving good fortune. If you have managed to overcome these, others or your own blocking beliefs, you could be in harmony with the financial area. That's a surface level of being in alignment.

To have your desire be in alignment with your spiritual area you need to have no blocking belief about having money being a bad thing. You laugh! How could having money be a bad thing? How about thoughts like "Money being to root of all evil." "Rich people are nasty, cruel, or selfish." "Being poor is a blessed thing." Get rid of thoughts like these to have your desire vibrate in harmony with your spiritual area.

To resonate with your professional area you need to believe you are capable of earning that money. That will be hard if you consider yourself incompetent. If you think you don't have the skill, knowledge or ability to learn what you need to to earn that money.

To be in harmony with your personal life you need to believe that the pursuit of money will not take all your time. That you will have enough time for your personal relationships.

Each of these is a surface belief, together they are a general harmony. If they are all in alignment with the same want, you will resonate with the want on a deeper level. the better your alignment, the stronger your resonance with it, the stronger the resonance, the stronger the positive feelings become.

Transverse Harmony

The next level of alignment is when you have no contradictions between two or more areas. When you are in transverse harmony you are fairly humming along in life. You are getting closer to total harmony and ultimate bliss.

The most frequent contradiction is between your professional and spiritual areas. It might be something as mild as wanting the company you work for be less focused on profit and more on people. It could be as big as believing that you need to actually violate one of your spiritual rules. Do you find yourself fudging the truth to make the sale? or look good to your boss? How about cutting corners on safety issues to make deadlines?

Conflicts like these limit how well Intention Manifestation works. No matter what your stated desire is, when you go against a value or ethic you hold, you're setting yourself up for failure. When you perform such an action, you will be sending out negative energy and vibrations.

Just notice how you feel when you find yourself doing something distasteful. Notice the tension, the wince, the cringe. When you feel, you also think. "I wish I didn't have to do this." "This is not right." "This is going to come back and bite someone." They cancel out some of the positive thoughts you sent out with your intention.

Each progressive level of harmony feels better. Having thoughts about money that are in harmony with your financial goals feels pretty good. Having thoughts about money that are in harmony with all the areas in your life feels incredible.

The closer you get to having all areas of your life in harmony, the closer you are to feeling, vibrating and radiating joy, peace and ultimate bliss.

Total Harmony

Harmony and Vibration
Harmony
The last level of alignment, Total Harmony, is the most difficult to achieve. This is where the biggest change is made, but jumping to here without working through the other levels will just undermine your efforts here.

Big changes like this don't come easily or quickly. Most big changes that happen quickly, don't last. Don't be looking to do big dramatic changes and have it work. Slow and steady is best.

If you go on a crash diet and loose 40 pounds, you are likely to put them back on when you relax the diet back into your normal routine. If you slowly but steadily change your diet to eat healthier, you will lose weight and keep it off. If you start doing a little more physical activity and steadily adding to it, you will lose weight and keep it off.

Enough lecturing about taking it slow. What makes this level so difficult?

At this point you are humming along. Life is good. You don't seem to have any conflicts. Nothing you do is distressing. But you feel there should be something more. This is where you find your values or universal rules and apply them to your life.

Many people have the different areas of their life separated, compartmentalized. Their home life is separate from their career which is separated from their health which is separate from their spiritual life. It gets really confusing when each compartment also has different rules and values.

Harmony is a balancing act
Harmony in life
If this is your case, how do you align the compartments? Well, you really can't get them aligned very well if they have walls between them and different rules.

Have you ever said, or heard someone else say, that how they are at work "is not how they really are"? There is a lot of talk about balancing work and home life. But guess what, we only have one life, whether at work or home or church.

A rule of yours could be "it's ok to shade the truth at work but not at home" ( or vise-a-versa). Or how about the need to be a tough hard nosed businessman, but you should be kind and considerate in your personal life.

A wall could be not sharing what happened at work with those you love. You may feel you are protecting them, but they need to know and understand all aspects of your life to understand you.

What do you do first? Break down walls? or change your rules? Personally, I think getting your rules and values in line is easier because the solutions are more obvious. Finding a career that is in harmony with your personal, financial and spiritual areas is more difficult.

Start by finding your universal rules or values. A universal rule or value is one that should be applied everywhere. They are mostly spiritual rules like kindness and honesty. Then apply them across the board.

You can be kind to your body, your spouse, your co-worker, your boss and the store clerk. The same applies to honesty. If fun is one of your values, and it could be, find ways to have fun in each area of your life.

This is where you explore your life's purpose. Finding your life's purpose is a whole topic itself.

As above, monitor your feelings and find those things that make you feel good. Follow those good feelings. What thoughts are you having?

When my grandchild enthusiastically hugs me, I think "I am loved and accepted." So Love and acceptance are important to me.

When I won my first martial arts tournament I thought, "Wow, I'm good at this." Being competent is important to my happiness.

Go through your happy memories and find things that brought joy into your life and try to bring back your thoughts. Find the harmony.

When you have discovered your good feelings, try to make them happen more and more often. Then develop your life purpose. Take a look around and be open for ways of changing something to be closer to your purpose and happiness than you are currently.

If being of service to others is important to you, try to find more volunteer opportunities, or see if you can get a paying job at a non-profit you believe in.

I love exploring new ideas and part of that exploration is the give and take among people. So communicating my ideas and view points is important to me. But verbal communication is difficult for me. I recently found out that verbal difficulties is a common occurrence with Introverts, so I don't feel so bad about that.

I know I can get my ideas across much better if I write. But I hated writing in school. I was never any good at it. Writing a web site is very different from writing for a grade or even a letter or e-mail. Calling a letter or e-mail complete and sending it off is a problem I have in writing a letter or e-mail. A web site is never finished. I repeatedly edit my pages as new insights come to me. Writing this web site allows me to express so many things that I haven't been able to express verbally.

Writing this web site brings my need for expressing myself about ideas into harmony with many other needs of mine. I'm not sure I would ever have done this if not for the Law of Attraction. I had long been thinking of a way to be available to help my daughter with her children, as my mother helped me. While still earning money to pay my bills. There were multiple things that brought me to this point. Each built upon the previous. Don't let your fear paralyze you, but don't jump at every passing "Get Rich Quick" scheme that comes your way. This is definitely not a GRQ. It takes a long time and a lot of work to build up a site.

Self improvement is not a straight climb. There are often set backs that need to be worked through. Just like when you climb a mountain, or take the expressway, sometimes you must go down to go up, or backwards to go forwards. So you will need to re-visit each of the levels when you have a new desire.

It's a snowball effect.

Harmony = easy
Harmony
Getting more and more areas and levels into harmony brings you closer to ultimate happiness. Fortunately, getting all areas of your life into alignment at the same time, doesn't have to happen for you to achieve your desires. It's just that the greater the alignment the more and faster your desires are fulfilled.

As you progress through the areas of life and levels of harmony, take note of your increasing states of happiness. Both the frequency and intensity increases with each new harmony reached.

Go forth in harmony, peace and happiness.
